Lloyds Starts Virtual Card Partnership With Taulia

As part of the implementation of the mentioned partnership, the parties to the collaboration will issue Visa-enabled virtual cards embedded in various solutions available with the SAP business suite. The relevant information is contained in a press release published by Taulia on Thursday, March 27.

The press release also noted that as part of the partnership, Lloyds will extend credit to clients who have purchased the Taulia Virtual Cards solution. This will allow companies to issue virtual cards to suppliers worldwide in a seamless B2B payment process.

Combining Taulia’s scalable technology with Lloyd’s reach, the partnership offers an innovative and fully embedded payment solution that meets the needs of customers from the United Kingdom.

Embedded finance technology integrates financial services into non-financial platforms and apps to help businesses enhance operations and client experience.

Taulia uses Visa’s API to integrate Visa virtual payment credentials, acceptance solutions, and supplier enablement services into the end user’s business and enterprise resource planning (ERP) apps.

Taulia’s chief product officer Danielle Weinblatt stated that the embedding of virtual cards directly into the ERP landscape and the involvement of Lloyds as an issuing partner is a game-changer for corporate payments. It was also noted that this collaboration redefines how companies manage spend, providing greater control, automation, and optimization of working capital directly in existing workflows.
