Oracle Launches AI Agents for Sales Professionals

Oracle on Tuesday, January 21, released a new set of artificial intelligence agents designed to help salespeople solve several tasks related to customer dealing.

Oracle Launches AI Agents for Sales Professionals

The mentioned company, based in the United States, is one of the largest technology brands specializing in the development of virtual assistants. These digital products can perform repetitive or complex tasks with greater autonomy. Technology giants such as Microsoft and Google are paying significant attention to virtual assistants in the framework of their artificial intelligence strategies.

Unlike the usual digital assistants used by consumers, Oracle’s agents are designed to handle specific tasks. Each time a salesperson meets with a customer, they need to update company records on how a deal is progressing. Virtual agents can tackle that writing.

At the same time, some tasks are more difficult. One customer intelligence agent can pull records from across Oracle’s business software categories and write a report for sales teams heading into deal talks, also if those records are in different languages.

For example, the system might show to a sales team based in the United States that a repeat customer has not been receiving shipments on time in a different country. The mentioned information could be helpful in offering concessions to renew a contract.

Rob Pinkerton, a senior vice president at Oracle, said during a conversation with media representatives that the company’s customers are oftentimes brands someone may not have heard of that run industry. They move rock and produce machinery. Rob Pinkerton noted they are usually global.
