Visa to Launch New Solutions

Visa unveiled three new value-added services that are designed to simplify and enhance the security of the payment acceptance process.

Visa to Launch New Fraud Detection Solutions

The mentioned services are meant for acquirers, retailers, marketplaces, payment facilitators, and shops. The relevant information is contained in the Visa press release.

One of the new products of the giant of the payment industry was named Authorize.net 2.0. In this case, Visa reimagined Authorize.net by adding a streamlined user interface, artificial intelligence capabilities, improved dashboards for management, and support for in-person card readers and tap-to-phone. This enhanced service will become available to the company’s customers in the United States in the current quarter. In some other countries, Authorize.net 2.0 will be launched next year.

Unified Checkout is a new experience that can be launched within a few hours and will orchestrate over 25 card and alternative payment options. In this case, merchants will be able to accept more types of payments and boost their e-commerce conversion through the intuitive checkout experience. The mentioned service will be available in the third quarter of 2025. In the United States, customers will have access to a fully operational Unified Checkout. Besides, the service will be launched in a pilot state in additional markets.

The third new service, called ARIC Risk Hub, uses adaptive artificial intelligence to protect acquirers and their mechanics from fraud and financial crimes. This product helps consumers identify risky transactions and build profiles around genuine customer activity. The ARIC Risk Hub is already available globally. It is worth noting that against the background of the active development of technology, the issue of cybersecurity has become more relevant. Personal awareness of users is one of the tools for countering corresponding threats in a virtual environment. For example, an Internet search query such as how to know if my camera is hacked will allow anyone to get information about signs of unauthorized access to the device.
