Amazon Web Services (AWS) last Wednesday, February 19, informed clients that it will no longer accept new customers for its Amazon Chime collaboration solution and will stop supporting this service after a year.
In a message published on the mentioned company’s blog, it was noted that after careful consideration, it was decided to end support for the Amazon Chime service, including business call functions, from February 20, 2026. This service has already stopped accepting new customers.
Existing clients who created an account before February 19 can continue to use the Amazon Chime features supported through the service’s administration console until February 20 next year. After the mentioned date, consumers will no longer be able to host meetings, manage users, or use business call functions.
